Vertical Spacing in moderncv Sections

0

Is there any way to get rid of the gap between the first and second /cvitem?

When I change "Research Interests" to "Interests" (and thus make it take up only one line) the text aligns properly, but moderncv doesn't seem to like having the section title take up two lines.

section{Research Interests}
cvitem{Comparative Politics}{Radical-right parties, European integration.}
cvitem{Political Behavior}{Affective & Ideological Polarization.}

The associated output
