up vote 4 down vote favorite There was a book I read 8-9 years ago in high school. I don't remember the main characters name, but he had a girlfriend named PJ. The main character went on a quest with another woman who put him through a few tests, the last one being that she stripped down and basically said "have your way with me" , but he refused because of his girlfriend. I believe there were also bits about some glowing crystals in an underwater cavern. This is all I can think of from the book. up vote 0 down vote favorite I am trying to migrate my selfmade NAS from a Raspberry Pi (Raspian) to a TinkerBoard (Debian) because that's faster on USB and has Gigabit Ethernet. In Raspian I use hdparm.conf to configure spindown_time to set sleep timeout for a USB drive, and that works fine. The new system is on a TinkerBoard with a Debian 9.6 stretch Linux operating system. There is a hdparm package but no init or service script to reload and apply hdparm configuration. How can I set a timeout for hard disk to go to sleep in Debian, like it is done with hdparm and the spindown_time setting on Raspian? debian share | improve this question asked yesterday ...
