Better Linux Distro for my laptop: elementary OS vs Debian [on hold]
I have an HP Probook 450 G4 and I was thinking about changing from Windows to Linux. I started to read about the different distros and so on, but I couldn't really find much specific information about my laptop model (except it is not on the list of verified laptops for Ubuntu).
I would appreciate if people with more know-how could help me pick the best distro for my laptop out of these two.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Miguel

The difference between distributions is mostly system administration and default UI. If you choose one and decide it's not ideal (running too slow, etc), you can always install and use a different set of applications. In my opinion, there can't be a "best" distribution (since they all have access to essentially the same set of software), just one whose goals seem best to you
