Amsart enumerate subsection
A somewhat dated way of organizing a math paper is by numbering subsections as paragraphs, but without titles. So for instance:
- Theory 1
1.1. Blabla
1.2. Blabla
1.3. Theorem.
etc.
In amsart or amsbook, whenever you want to add a level using enumerate, there will automatically be a line break:
1.1.
(a) blabla
whereas what I would ideally like is
1.1.(a) blabla
(I'm using the enumitem package). Does anyone know of a way to remedy this?
