Parse bash scripts flags

-1

I'm trying to parse shell script arguments that aren't key-value pairs. An example of what that may look like when calling the bash script in a YAML file:

commands:
- ./scripts/test.sh "Test Title" --skip-import --verbose
...

Unfortunately I can't use getops, since the script takes in long arguments. How might I go about parsing the arguments? Thanks in advance!

  • By parsing the yaml file, or in writing the e.g. test.sh script?

  • @JeffSchaller The latter - in parsing $1, $2, ... $# inside test.sh.
