Gstreamer - problem with mkv playback and jack

0

I use gst123 as my regular audio and video player. I'm now using a Saffire 6 USB interface, which works out of the box using jack so I select jack as audio-output device with the -a option like this:

gst123 -a jack Music/audio-file.mp3

this is working fine.

But if I try to play a video file in mkv format

gst123 --fullscreen --audio-output jack Music/music-video.mkv

I get the following error:

Error: Failed to create Opus decoder
=> file cannot be played and will be removed from playlist

this is no problem when just running gst123 selecting the system-default pulseaudio output by not specifying any output device.
