mount error(2):No such file or directory)

0

I mounted a couple of smb shares via fstab sucessfully and the user are currently using them. When I mount another smb shares with this syntax:

//server/share /mnt/dir1 cifs vers=2.1,credentials=/pas.cred 0 0

mount -a

i keep getting the following error

mount error(2): No such file or directory
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

how do i fix mount error(2): No such file or directory) (the file does exist by the way)

Thanks
