How do I start learning Tikz, PSTricks and Asymptote in LaTeX?

0

Tikz, PSTricks and Asymptote are having a steep learning curve as the tags are not conventional.

How should one start learning the above and gain mastery of the same.

The code is heavily dependent on the Cartesian coordinate system but on a PDF page, how do we determine the coordinate of the XY Plane (for 2D) and XYZ Plane (for 3D).

Also, why does Tikz have the concept of library and not conventional packages like other environments. How do determine when to use which Tikz library.

Also, as a beginner, which is recommended (Tikz, PSTricks or Asymptote)?
