Glossaries-extra without sectioning
I'm creating a document with two glossaries (using glossaries-extra and bib2gls). I would like to print each glossary without any automatic sectioning (without creating a new chapter or section), so that I can manually add and manipulate the sectioning i.e using chapter{...}
. A MWE is below:
NeedsTeXFormat{LaTeX2e}
documentclass[11pt]{book}
usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
usepackage{CJKutf8}
usepackage{graphicx,color}
usepackage[record,style=mcoltree,stylemods=mcols,nomain]{glossaries-extra}
usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
usepackage{lipsum}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
% Glossaries code %
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
newglossary*{japanese}{Japanese to English}
newglossary*{english}{English to Japanese}
glsnoexpandfields
GlsXtrLoadResources[
src={defs-nointerpret}, % bib file containing @preamble
interpret-preamble=false % write the @preamble contents but don't try to interpret
]
GlsXtrLoadResources[
src=JPEntries,% bib file
selection=all,% select all entries provided in this 'src' list
sort={ja-JP},
type=japanese
]
GlsXtrLoadResources[
src=EngEntries,% bib file
selection=all,% select all entries provided in this 'src' list
sort={en-GB},
type=english
%label-prefix={en.}
]
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
% Glossaries code end %
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
begin{document}
mainmatter
tableofcontents
printunsrtglossaries
end{document}
Which will require the bib file "defs-nointerpret"
@preamble{"providerobustcmd{cjkname}[1]{begin{CJK}{UTF8}{ipxm}#1end{CJK}}
providecommand*{englishlettergroup}[1]{#1}
providecommand*{japaneselettergroup}{cjklettergroup}
providecommand*{cjklettergroup}[1]{cjkname{#1}}
providecommand{bibglslettergrouptitle}[4]{%
unexpanded{%
ifcsdef{#4lettergroup}%
{csuse{#4lettergroup}{#1}}%
{cjklettergroup{#1}}%
}%
}"}
And something in the two bib files EngEntries and JPEntries. Anything is fine, but for example:
EngEntries:
@entry{en.acutetriangle,
name={Acute triangle}},
sort={acute triangle},
description={cjkname{急性三角} - cjkname{きゅうせいさんかく}}
}
@entry{en.obtusetriangle,
name={Obtuse triangle},
sort={obtuse triangle},
description={cjkname{鈍角三角形} - cjkname{どんかくさんかっけい}}
}
and JPEntries:
@entry{jp.acutetriangle,
name={cjkname{急性三角}},
sort={cjkname{きゅうせいさんかく}},
description={- cjkname{きゅうせいさんかく}newlinehspace*{1cm} Acute triangle}
}
@entry{jp.obtusetriangle,
name={cjkname{鈍角三角形}},
sort={cjkname{どんかくさんかっけい}},
description={- cjkname{どんかくさんかっけい}newlinehspace*{1cm} Obtuse triangle}
}
The code can then be compiled using
