Ansible- Calculate vars from user input and use it in when condition in a task

0

I am writing a ansible playbook to select unused disks from ansible_devices. If the server has more than one unused disks, I want to pick the one same as input size/or closest to it, for example server has two disks of 50 GB and 5GB, and if the user enters size as 4 GB, the disk size which is closest to it (i.e. 5 GB), should be selected. For that i am calculating the min_value and max_value. But I am getting error. Size is taken from userinput.

following is my code:-

-name: Print disk result

 set_fact:

disks: "/dev/{{item.key}}"
when:
- not item.value.partitions
- not item.value.holders
- not item.value.links.ids
- "{{ min_value }}.00 GB" <= item.value.size <= "{{ max_value }}.00 GB"
- item.key | search ("sd")

with_dict: "{{ ansible_devices }}"
vars:
min_value: "{{ size - 2 }}"
max_value: "{{ size + 2 }}"

- debug: var=disks

The item.value.size is like this for disks:-

"size": "50.00 GB" for disk1

"size": "5.00 GB" for disk2
