Can't use LightDM

I'm using Elementary OS Juno, and after I installed the Nvidia drivers 340 from the official site, I'm getting a lightdm error saying:

Failed to use bus name org.freedesktop.DisplayManager, do you have appropriate permissions?

And I don't know how to fix this.

  • you have to provide the information about what you tried in your question above ..... include information why attempts did not work for you ..... that way we will not be duplicating effort
