WinEdt, Sumatra PDF, synctex mouse to word

When double clicking on a word in sumatra pdf it takes me to the paragraph in the latex file in WinEdt rather than the word I clicked on. For large paragraphs this can be time consuming to find the specific word I clicked on.

Surely it can match up on the word level or is this a limitation of synctex?

  • related question: tex.stackexchange.com/q/39678 The precision can easily be increased by using shorter lines and don't write a whole paragraph in a single line.
