解説



  • タイトル曲を作曲した小室哲哉は、アイドルから社会現象になりつつあった中山に向けて、「自分のメロディーをより多くの人に知ってもらうチャンスだ」と必死になって作った結果、自然とテンションが上がって「ちょっと攻撃的なメロディーになった」と振り返っている[2]。


  • 間奏を中心として、楽曲全体にカリブ海の音楽であるカリプソ調のサウンドを聞くことができる。

  • 音楽ランキング番組『歌のトップテン』で初の首位を獲得、翌週も首位を守り2週連続首位獲得となった。当時、首位の報せを聞いた中山は泣いてしまったという。

Can't connect RFCOMM socket: Host is down
