About race condition and interrupt in Linux

Now I understand that context switching is the cause of race condition, but I also want to know when will race condition happen?



I'm not sure about whether this is correct:

(Consider both multiprocessor and single processor environment.)

Some interrupts may(since I'm stuck at whether preemptive or not should be considered) trigger rescheduling(, which will cause __schedule() happens), and thus cause context switching?
