I am using miktex2.9 in a laptop with sin 7 OS.
When I open Miktex settings a popup opens asking me "Do you want to install from an unknown publisher?
I click Yes. But Miktex stopped working.
Any help to solve this is appreciated.

The problem might be with your internet connection setting, make sure you have admin rights. Type "package manager" in windows search to open package manager window, then go to repository->change package repository-> connection setting, verify the settings are correct and try changing package repositories if the problem persists.

  • Thanks for quick reply. I have admin rights. When I tried to change the repository, I get Miktex error report: "Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates". With that everything comes to an end. Need more help.
