Is there a standardized way to find corresponding packages of distro Y to distro X?

0

If my boss asks me to install the same set of packages I installed on distro X on distro Y but I never worked with distro Y is there some automatic comparison table (tool) to which I could insert all package-names from distro X and get their names (asumming they exist) on distro Y, instead manually searching for each one?

An alternative approach could be some global package manager for all distros that use it but AFAIK no such tool exists today.
