bash script to create custom directories and automatically split files inside them
I have something like 10.000 - 20.000 files in a single directory, and I would like to "split" them, in something like 20 custom directories named dir1,dir2,dir3,dir4, etc.
I know how automatically create 20 directories, but is there a way to automatically create such directories and move and split the 10-20.000 files inside of them?
The reason why I am doing this is because a directory with 10-20.000 files takes long to open, scan, etc.
