Slow write speed to Areca RAID

0

Of 10 identical machines, we now get very slow disk write speed on two machines. I don't think it is a hardware issue.

There must be a setting somewhere that is different, but I haven't found anything yet.

Any suggestions?

Good Machine

dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/das.h/testFile bs=100M count=1 oflag=dsync
1+0 records in
1+0 records out
104857600 bytes (105 MB) copied, 0.181045 s, **579 MB/s**

Slow Machine

dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/das.h/testFile bs=100M count=1 oflag=dsync
1+0 records in
1+0 records out
104857600 bytes (105 MB) copied, 20.3667 s, **5.1 MB/s**

Same hardware, same software.

Centos 6 32-bit
uname -a Linux 4.4.127-1.el6.elrepo.i686 #1 SMP Sun Apr 8 09:44:43 EDT 2018 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

dmesg

Areca RAID Controller0: Model ARC-1882, F/W V1.52 2014-06-12
scsi host0: Areca SAS/SATA RAID Controller (RAID6 capable)
arcmsr version v1.40.0X.04-20171130
