trying to install libdb4.8-dev and libdb4.8++-dev on Debian 9. They are not in the stable repositories nor the oldstable repo. Does anyone know where I can find them?

  • @StephenKitt BitcoinABC client. Doesn't compile with wallet compatibility mode with latest version in stable repos.

  • Which version? AFAICT the current code looks for libdb5.3... (Sorry if I seem like I’m badgering you — I’m trying to make sure we solve the right problem.)
