How secure would it be to use a raspberry pi router + 4g modem? [on hold]

I would like to create my own router which would run DHCP server and allow access to 4g over local network. How secure would something like that be?

My concern is somebody gaining access to my local network somehow, my knowledge on the subject is limited, not exactly sure what can actually be done.
