set up ubuntu virtualbox to read window files

I installed Ubuntu-18.04.1 in virtualbox and I am trying to setup VBoxGuestAdditions. Following the instruction from this group I need to do "sudo mount -t vboxsf HOST_SHARE GUEST_SHARE". I got following error:
/sbin/moount.vboxsf: mounting failed with the error: Protocol error"
