How does Linux 4.x manage page table caches?

0

I was reading this article
[https://www.kernel.org/doc/gorman/html/understand/understand006.html#sec:%20Bootstrapping][1]

and it said:

the pages used for the page tables are cached in a number of different lists called quicklists (...) Broadly speaking, the three implement caching with the use of three caches called pgd_quicklist, pmd_quicklist and pte_quicklist

However, the documentation is quite old, and I couldn't find those quicklists in the latest Linux (tip/tip.git) source tree.

I am pretty sure that page table pages be cached, but I cannot find the exact implementation.

Where can I find file that manages page table page caches?

Thanks!
